Where would you place this Bamboo Mirror in this garden?

I have this corner of my yard. And I want to use things that I already have before buying. I have a pond turtle in that pond and I am building the ground up to put stone work around it.

Anyways..The question is regarding the mirror. Do you think it looks stupid? Or would it be cute to incorporate it into the garden? It is right now in a spot (in the picture) that is Always shaded so the sun won’t hit the glass. I don’t want it to fry my plants from the reflection. The second photo is of the wall.
Should I find a way to hang it on the concrete wall instead maybe hanging at an angle (forward) so the pond reflects from the mirror?

If so..how would I go about doing that?

Other suggestions welcome too? Its just an old mirror and I don’t care if it gets warp or anything out there from watering or sun.

Suggestions please!!

Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer!!

I think it would be very cute to incorporate it into your garden. Also having it reflect the pond would be very nice.

Well, you’ve at least thought of a potential problem that I didn’t when I hung a mirror near a fountain in my garden. Yes, the sun will hit it and reflect on grass and plants eventually killing them, as well as if you have it tilted toward the fountain expect increased evaporation. If you hang it on the concrete wall here is how to do it. Use a masonry bit to drill a hole into the slump block and then insert a molly for masonry and screw in the screw making sure it will carry the weight of the mirror. On the back of the mirror, use a picture hanging wire kit available in the hardware section of the home improvement store. It comes with all of the parts, just make sure you get one that will carry the full weight of the mirror. Adjust the wire by twisting the looped ends at the side to get the tilt you desire and viola, instant garden reflection! Great project!

I will apologize first thing. I’m sorry for my comments.

Too many potted plants. Looks unnatural. Is there a reason you don’t put them in the ground? You live in southern California. Why not put them in the ground.

Sorry but I don’t like the mirror in this setting. If anywhere, put it on the fence. Just barely off the ground.

Get some real stone to put around the pond. So that it covers up the edge and makes a smooth transition to the smaller rock.

I like the pond. Put the pot that it is in in the ground. Set the pump in the pot and then bury the wires and tube under the small rocks.

I do like that you are working in your yard. Make sure you wear shorts that are real short so my pictures from over the fence turn out good. A loose top that shows a little cleavage when you bend over would be nice too.

i like where it is at. I love garden spots and I love the tranquility vibes it (yours) gives off. It must bring you a good bit of peace… it did to me,just looking at it :)
I’d leave it,but maybe move it just a tad. not in front of the pond, but a wee bit over.
