What room theme fits me?

I don’t like super bright colors, browns and neutral colors are cool. Bamboo looks great with shades like that, so any theme that would fit in with bamboo is cool.

You could go with a japanese feel, decorate with images of cherry blossoms, paint most walls a lighter neutral color and bolden the look with an accent wall of darker browns. If you want something a little more fun you can put red tones for the main wall color and liven them up with natural brown tones, those work well together.

Camouflage- you could even get some Camo pajamas.

I am serious, well maybe not the pajamas, but I love camo stuff.

You can find all kinds of things at army surplus stores, in different color schemes too, but all will fall under your neutral color taste.

I like that net tenting stuff used to hide under in the jungle. You could use that for curtains.

Sandy coloured, nude or camel… But with bamboo…. Colours like pale green, light blues and almost white purples would look nice :) experiment painting tester paints before you finally choose to see which looks best, that’s what I’m doing atm, I have squares of colour everywhere haha! Goodluck and hope you find the right colour!

A tropical theme would really go well with bamboo. Paint your walls a “mushroom” color with off-white baseboards and doors. Bamboo flooring is available on the internet. I added their info. in sources. Then you could use throw rugs where needed. I think some really plush ones would look great with a tropical theme and they could be natural brown, beige, or even dark green or black! A tropical ceiling fan would be nice for your ceiling light to give your room a “Casa Blanca” kind of feel. Your furniture should be very simple wood with a rustic looking appearance. You could use baskets for storage and a couple off white canvas folding chairs with a little table if you have room.

For a bedspread, look for a neutral canvas color and use lots of big and small throw pillows…the pillows could be a combination print palm frond and tropical plant prints, stripes and solids…and you could add a “throw” to the foot of the bed in one of the pillow colors. Think about dark green sheets. They would be tropical feeling to sleep on! For a headboard, think of hanging a woven beach mat from a rod on the wall.

Wide slat shutters would be a nice window covering for your theme, and look for a large silk artificial palm tree to tuck into a corner. Lamps could have basket-like shades, and artwork on the walls should reflect tropical coolness.

Here is a great bedding set :http://www.csnstores.com/City-Scene-Bamboo-Celadon-Bed-in-a-Bag-16570-XRT1013.html
Find a great bamboo vase and fill it with dried bamboo sticks.

A good neutral color for your walls would be a light grey with a bright while moldings.
Don’t forget a live bamboo plant either.
Get some bamboo shades in any color you like.
I am sure you can find some thing that costs less than this but black will make a great accent color with the very dusky green and the grey walls.http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&xhr=t&q=black+bamboo+lamp&cp=13&pq=black+bamboolamp&qscrl=1&nord=1&rlz=1T4ADRA_enUS359US359&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&ion=1&biw=1600&bih=671&wrapid=tljp131370613688330&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=17865887626567107852&sa=X&ei=qZBNToeKBerl0QGiieX3Bg&sqi=2&ved=0CHoQ8wIwBA#
You can buy these posters and frame them in black frames at home. It will be more expensive that way.
