Hi everyone, I really hope someone can give me some inspiration… I am redecorating my living room. The walls are painted with “magnolia dreams” which looks magnolia coloured in the evening but has a slight purple tint during the day (enough for you to notice it). The flooring is tiled, a dark wood floorboard effect and we have purchased a dark brown leather sofa. I want to get a roman blind for the window and cushions and a rug for the room but am not sure which colour(s) would work best, specially with the wall colour. I want a colour that will stand out from the dark sofa and floor, we are planning on buying dark wood furniture for the room, I thought perhaps different shades of purple? I would like it kept simple, love the idea of having different patterned cushions in contrasting colours…help!!
You should definitely go with a light tan color. It will bring out the roman feeling you are going for.
You can also add cool decals to walls to add a cool look!
