i want to mount my window shade at the bottom of the window and be able to pull it up the window at a height?


i want to be able to pull it half way up the window so i can still have the light but not people peering in
is it possible?

    Yes. Normally a shade is mounted at the top of a window but can be mounted at the bottom with an added part. A normal installation involves hanging from the top with the use of gravity. If hung from the bottom and the shade is pulled upward the shade would simply flop down. So, we have to have a way to hook the shade at the stop position. In this case you want the stop position to be half way up. Very easily done. Install a suction cup hanger half way up on the glass in the middle. Use a clamp clip (the type you squeeze to spread) and clamp it to the center of the shade end in the center. Make sure the wooden or plastic strip is in the shade end first. Pull the shade up and hang it form your suction cup. BINGO!
