The windows in my house are wider than the standard blind or shade size. Even custom made blinds/shades are limited to a width less than the width of my windows. Is there a way to hang two sets of blinds or shades in one wide window?

I have a large picture window and I have 4 sets of wooden blinds to cover them. It looks very nice and it allows me to be able to control the light that comes across the room during the day. I think it would look just as good if u used two sets of blinds for a smaller window. If you can’t get two that are small enough to fit together maybe you could make or have made some roman shades? If you look in your local news paper there are seamstresses that advertise that service. I think that kits are also sold for this purpose.
Attach the blind holders to the top edge of the frame inside the window. You will have 2 holders in the center.
